Rules & Guidelines:

Qualifications: Participants must be 17 years or older. All competitors should be medically fit to run and understand they enter at their own risk. To compete, it is required you find pledging. Every competitor must be guaranteed at least $50 worth of pledges for completing the 5K. Spectators will be charged $10 for the BBQ.

Registration: All participants must register a username and password at www.nihov.org. Upon registration, you may submit an online application to participate in the run. Your name will be added to the list of runners. After that, share the website with everyone you know! Friends and family can donate specifically to your efforts by clicking next to your name. Your total must reach at least $50 for you to participate in the run.

Awards: Prizes will be given to the top male and females] who complete the run in the shortest time. Competition T-Shirts will be given to all entrants. Also, a special prize will be awarded to whoever brings in the most pledges.

Dress Code: No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service. Guys and girls should dress appropriately. Everyone must wear a top. Shorts should be of reasonable length. Priests are allowed to wear their galabeyas J

Legal release: I understand that physical exertion is inherently dangerous. I should not enter unless I am medically able. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other runners, the effects of the weather, including high heat and humidity, traffic and the conditions of the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release St. George and St. Shenouda from any kind of liability arising out of my participation in this event even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness arising on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
